I have the pleasure of hosting our Read the Rainbow LGBTQ+ book club once a month, which inspires me to read more books with queer characters and storylines. I particularly enjoy stories that not only celebrate the diversity of sexuality and gender identity, but provide their characters with a well-deserved happy ending. Books that seamlessly honor identity, pride, and acceptance warm my heart and make me feel that much more connected to the pages.
