The current location opened on October 26, 1996; Mid-Columbia Libraries service began in 1978.

What is the scope of the remodel?
Customers can expect an increased collection with thousands of new items in addition to the current collection.
Once the remodel is completed the branch will have eight public computers and a lounge dedicated to wireless devices like tablets, laptops, etc. Customers can also look forward to a new storytime area with an improved children’s collection, public art, a historic photo mural, new carpet and paint, and a small conference room.
