This is a Temporary, 6-8 week assignment with an anticipated start date of November 24, 2025. The Interim Branch Manager will plan and direct the work of library staff, perform a variety of administrative and technical tasks related to circulation of library materials and management of daily branch operations. Will act as a liaison with the local community; promote library programs, services and resources, and resolve customer concerns. This position requires the ability to respond to a variety of situations, interact with diverse populations, and have a desire to support and guide our library staff. 

Minimum Qualifications

This opportunity is intended for internal candidates who currently hold a role at the level of Customer Service Specialist, Substitute, or higher. 

A thorough understanding of MCL's policies and procedures is essential, along with working knowledge of Polaris Leap and shared systems. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong foundational knowledge of MCL operations with an interest in future leadership opportunities, including project management and team oversight.
