Job Summary

Bring your energy, language skills, and passion for public service to Mid-Columbia Libraries! We’re seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist to join our Prosser team. In this dynamic role, you’ll engage with customers of all ages, support our Spanish-speaking community and create meaningful experiences at the library. In this role, you will support in-branch activities, programming, and participate in outreach events. Successful candidates will have a love of reading and learning, enjoy engaging with customers of all ages, have a passion for serving the public and supporting our Spanish speaking population!

Minimum Qualifications

We are currently seeking an energetic, customer service orientated individual with the following qualifications:

  • Two years of customer service experience, including public contact plus Associate of Arts degree
  • Or equivalent technical training, education, and/or experience
  • Must also be able to obtain a valid Washington State driver’s license
  • Ability to promote a culture of belonging by supporting MCL's commitment to a Healthy Workplace
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of technological devices (such as eReaders) and their application
