Kiona Benton Historical Society and Washington State Library's Digital Collection Presentation

Kiona Benton City Historical Society (KBCHS) hosts guest speaker, Shawn Schollmeyer, Digital Newspaper Coordinator of the Washington State Library. Shawn will demonstrate how to use the Washington State Library's Digital Collections. Topics Include Heritage newspapers, photos, territorial collections, and newspaper preservation. Diane Leist of KBCHS will provide a short history of the Kiona-Benton area focusing on early newspaper editors and their publications.
