Children's Book Day

To celebrate the birthday of Hans Christian Andersen, author of "The Little Mermaid" and "The Ugly Duckling," Children’s Book Day has events worldwide with writing competitions and speaking engagements with famous authors and illustrators. This is a chance to find out about the great works of some unknown children’s authors as well.
