Branch Closures

Mid-Columbia Libraries observes 12 holidays which may impact branch hours. Additionally, there are also staff training days which will impact operating hours. The dates below show which branches and days may be impacted. You can always access eBooks, eAudiobooks, and more through our digital branch 24/7.

Tuesday, Dec. 24

All branches are closed.

Wednesday, Dec. 25

All branches are closed.

Sunday, Dec. 29

All branches are closed.

Tuesday, Dec. 31

All branches close at 5 pm.

Wednesday, Jan. 1

All branches are closed.

Mid-Columbia Libraries may close, delay, or close early in the event of snow, ice, or other emergencies.

Our policy states that if a local school district closes due to inclement weather, the library branch(es) in that district will automatically have a delayed opening time of 12 pm (or when the library is regularly scheduled to open, whichever is later). Library officials will decide whether or not to close for the rest of the day.
