Branch Closures

Mid-Columbia Libraries observes 12 holidays which may impact hours of operation for some or all branches. Additionally, Mid-Columbia Libraries holds two staff training days a year which also impact hours of operation. Please see the following dates for branch closures or changes in operating hours.

Mid-Columbia Libraries may close, delay, or close early in the event of snow, ice, or other emergencies.

Our policy states that if a local school district closes due to inclement weather, the library branch(es) in that district will automatically have a delayed opening time of 12 pm (or when the library is regularly scheduled to open, whichever is later). Library officials will decide whether or not to close for the rest of the day.
