We're inviting curious, committed, and community-minded staff to consider stepping into this role of Interim Branch Manager at our Merrill’s Corner Branch. This is a unique opportunity to try out a leadership role in real time and get hands-on experience! This is a Temporary, 6 week assignment anticipated to begin October 15th, 2025.
The Interim Branch Manager will perform a variety of administrative and technical tasks related to circulation of library materials and management of daily branch operations. Will act as a liaison with the local community; plan and promote library programs, services and resources; monitor library and collection usage; and resolve customer concerns.
- This opportunity is intended for internal candidates who currently hold a role at the level of Customer Service Specialist, Substitute, or higher.
- A thorough understanding of MCL's policies and procedures is essential, along with working knowledge of Polaris Leap and shared systems.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong foundational knowledge of MCL operations.
