Our Pasco team member will be a dynamic individual with the desire to engage with library visitors of all ages in the discovery of great books and library materials. In this role, the Customer Service Specialist will assist customers at the main desk while also supporting them in the use of computers and personal devices in the library. This position will support in-branch activities and participate in community outreach events. Successful candidates will have a love of reading and learning, engaging with others in outreach events and have a desire to serve the public through this role.

We are currently seeking a customer service orientated individual with the following qualifications:
- Associate of Arts degree from an accredited college, plus two years of customer service experience, including public contact
- Or equivalent technical training, education, and/or experience
- Must also be able to obtain a valid Washington State driver’s license
- Ability to promote a culture of belonging by supporting MCL's commitment to a Healthy Workplace
Desired Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Knowledge of technological devices (such as eReaders) and their application
- Previous outreach experience, including working with organizations serving children, their families, and/or the community
